Burned-Out Architects is a card board game, best described by a quote from one of the players.
"The game is something between a wild shootout, financial strategy, and total burnout."
Game Goal
Players are trying to win! There's no second or third place! Either you win or you're last — that's just how it is. The last players can then blame each other for not winning.
- •The player who earns 15 prestige points wins
- •Prestige points are earned mainly by successfully completing projects, and through action cards.
- •It's also good to sabotage others' success — and subconsciously your own.

How to Play
1. Draw cards
Draw any combination of 2 cards (action, projects, workforce).
2. Deploy an architect
Without a lead architect you can't take on projects. Deploy people, projects, and action cards.
3. Run projects
Every project needs the right number of workforce (always at least an architect or builder).
4. Track burnout
Advance projects and watch for burnout. Completed projects bring money and prestige, but architects gain burnout points while working.
5. Pay and score
At the end of your turn, pay and clean up your hand. Pay with money or burnout (for architects). You may hold a max of 4 cards.
6. Establish dominance
Establish total dominance and break your opponents' will to complete projects.
Game Example
Here's a quick look at how a typical round plays out. Each card has unique abilities that can change the course of the game.

Workforce
Works on projects. An architect can lead a studio and gain special skills.

Action Card
A support card — heals burnout, adds money, cancels effects. For the 2nd spot I'd prefer an attack card with a red border.

Project Card
They bring you money and burnout (that's just how it is.
